Smart sensor networks are taking an important role that serve as the interfaces for the Internet of Things (IoT) systems to monitor and interact with the physical world. This Special Issue is to gather latest research breakthroughs in the area of sensor networks development, especially for its applications in smart cities, industry sensor communications, power distribution systems, intelligent public transport services, pervasive health technologies, and sensor social networks. The papers should present the most recent advances in different aspects of smart sensor networks.
The CyberC 2019 special issues has particular interests in the smart sensors and relevant topics. Some of the topics are Smart Cities, Internet of Things (IoT), Sensor-aided Smart Grids, Vehicular Sensor Networks, Video Sensor Networks, Sensor-aided Social Networks, Cognitive Radio Sensor Networks, Robot-aided sensor networks, Body Sensor Networks, Sensor-Cloud Applications, Data Fusion in Smart Sensor Networks, Big Data in Sensory Systems, Human-Sensor Interactions, Bio-Inspired Sensor Networks, Resource Management, Cross-Layer Design and Optimization, and Network Security.
All CyberC 2019 authors are invited to submit their extended papers (30% minimal) to the special issue. Final recommendation will be made by the paper quality.
Manuscript Submission Information
Manuscripts should be submitted online at www.mdpi.com by registering and logging in to this website. Once you are registered, click here to go to the submission form. Manuscripts can be submitted until the deadline. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal (as soon as accepted) and will be listed together on the special issue website. Research articles, review articles as well as short communications are invited. For planned papers, a title and short abstract (about 100 words) can be sent to the Editorial Office for announcement on this website.
A guide for authors and other relevant information for submission of manuscripts is available on the Instructions for Authors page. Sensors is an international peer-reviewed open access monthly journal published by MDPI.
