About CyberC

CyberC (International Conference on Cyber-enabled distributed computing and knowledge discovery) is an international conference on cyber-enabled technology. This conference covers the topics of cyber-networks, machine learning, cyber security, distributed computing, wireless networks and mobile computing, cognitive computing, cloud computing, computing tools, applications, and system performance. CyberC offers a forum for presentation and discussion of innovative ideas, original research results, new applications, and user experience for network-enabled distributed computing and knowledge discovery technologies. 

CyberC 2009: CyberC explored Zhangjiajie, Huashan, Beijing, Sanya. CyberC 2009 received 169 submissions from 15 different countries. It has finally selected 46 full papers with the acceptance rate of 27%. CyberC 2009 has also accepted 25 short papers, resulting in a total of 71 papers. One best paper and two honorable mention papers were awarded to authors of three papers.  

CyberC 2010: CyberC 2010 received total 297 submissions from 15 different countries. After a rigorous review process from 300+ external reviewers and each paper was at least reviewed by two experts, 63 full papers were finally selected with the acceptance rate of 21%. One best regular paper, one best student paper, and one honorable mention paper were awarded to authors of three papers. In addition, outstanding papers were again recommended for a special issue on the International Journal of Information Technology, Communications and Convergence (IJITCC). CyberC 2010 also has accepted 35 short papers, resulting in a total of 98 papers.

CyberC 2011: CyberC 2011 received totally 340+ submissions. The submissions are carefully reviewed by the program committee members and 250+ external expertise reviewers, 81 full papers were finally selected with a very competitive acceptance rate of 24%. In addition, CyberC has accepted 25 high-quality short papers recommended by reviewers, resulting in totally 100+ papers in the conference.CyberC 2011 selected one best regular paper and one best student paper. CyberC 2011 further publishes a special issue at Future Generation Computer System (FGCS) that is an Elsevier journal, having Impact Factor (IF) of 2.229.

CyberC 2012: CyberC 2012 attracted total 385 paper submissions, out of which 103 papers have been accepted with an average acceptance rate of 27%. The final technical symposia program is the result of a rigorous review process, with each paper receiving at least three reviews from the respective research community. CyberC papers are reviewed by 500+ professors or experts.

CyberC 2013: CyberC 2013 (Beijing) attracted total 380+ paper submissions, out of which 106 papers have been accepted with an average acceptance rate of 28%. Before selecting these papers, each manuscript is carefully reviewed by Technical Program Committee (TPC) members or externally invited professors or experts. CyberC 2013 has totally 290+ reviewers from different countries.CyberC 2013 has promoted 300+ attendees from the world and 13 keynote speeches with an active panel.

CyberC 2014: CyberC 2014 hold at Shanghai. CyberC 2014 was financially sponsored by HP, Huawei, Comrise, Tech Mahindra, and InfoBeyond. The conference selected 57 full papers out of 215 submissions, having an acceptance rate of 26%. In addition, we have selected 25 short papers.CyberC 2014 program includes 16 keynotes and 9 sessions, and it has 160 + attendees.  One best paper and two honorable student papers were awarded to authors.

CyberC 2015: CyberC 2015 (Xi’an, September 17-18) was a successful event with 164 participations. This year is financially sponsored by IEEE Big Data, IEEE SDN, Samsung, Huawei, Tech Mahindra, and InfoBeyond. The conference has selected 50 full papers and 46 short papers out of 289 manuscript submissions. In two days, 13 keynotes and 10 sessions are delivered. Thanks Samsung for a group of a joyful Samsung manufactory journey in Xi’an. One best paper and two honorable papers were awarded to authors.

CyberC 2016: CyberC 2016 (Chengdu, September 13-15) committee first visited University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and the conference then hold in Ascott Raffles City Chengdu, October 13 – 15, 2016. The conference has been cosponsored by IEEE Computer Society (Technically Co-Sponsored), IEEE Big Data Initiative, IEEE SDN (Software Define Network Initiative), IEEE Technical Committee on Simulation, Science and Technology on Electronic Information Control Laboratory. CyberC 2016 has also received the support from the IEEE China. A total of 293 research papers is received. These papers are reviewed by TPC and externally invited 150 experts. In the end, 57 full papers and 36 short papers are recommended for publication in the CyberC proceeding. The full paper acceptance rate is about 20% and the overall acceptance rate is 32%. All these papers are organized in 10 sessions for oral presentation.
